What we build
TypingTest Lab is a simple web tool that measures your typing speed in words per minute (WPM) and your accuracy over 60 seconds. Choose Easy, Medium, or Hard, start typing, and the timer begins on your first keystroke. Nothing you type is stored on a server or used to train models — the test runs in your browser.
Why we made it
We wanted a clean typing test that loads fast, works on phones and desktops, and explains what your score means. Alongside the test you will find guides like how to type faster and a WPM chart so you can set realistic goals for school, work, or personal improvement.
Ads and privacy
The site may display ads through Google AdSense once approved. Ads help keep the typing test free. We do not require an account. For ad personalization controls, use your Google account settings. Placeholder ad slots on the site show where units will appear.
